Hydrosorb Dressings
Hydrosorb is a transparent hydrogel dressing consisting of an absorbent polyurethane-polyurea hybrid polymer which contains propylene glycol.
A transparent solid gel sheet covered with a semi-permeable outer layer. The high water content of approx. 60% makes it particularly suitable for keeping granulation tissue and young epithelium moist.
Hydrocellular gel dressing with semi-permeable top layer which is impermeable to germs; transparent; provides a balanced moist wound environment due to the high water content of 60%; promotes granulation and epithelization; good skin tolerability; padding effect; it does not stick to the wound; also available with adhesive film border
The gel dressing has no adhesive border; however for permanent fixation, an additional securing with adhesive tapes or conforming bandages is recommended
