Assura adhesive
Two different adhesives layered and rolled into a spiral structure combines skin-friendliness and security. White spiral has been optimized for absorption in order to maintain a normal skin condition. Brown spiral has been optimized for adhesion and offers the security needed for prolonged wear time. As two-piece base plates are changed less frequently, it is important to maintain a healthy skin condition under the base plate.
Easy-to-use lock ring
The Assura two-piece system offers a secure lock ring coupling. A “click” signals when the bag is correctly locked to the base plate and is securely in place. This is done without applying pressure to the abdomen. The lock ring can be turned to the most convenient position for locking.
Soft, comfortable and discreet
The Assura bags are made of a noise reducing and odour proof film. The back of the bag, resting against the skin, features a lining made of extra soft material for comfort and added protection against skin irritation.
Self-adhesive closing clip
An easy to use self-adhesive soft clip is supplied with the bag. The clip is applied to the bag outlet, whereupon the outlet is rolled upwards around the clip. The ends of the clip are then folded back to close the bag. It is a closure system that is both secure and hygienic. A reusable clamp is available as an alternative to the soft clip.
