Canesten Thrush Pessary 500mg (P)

Indications

• Recommended for the treatment of candidal vaginitis (vaginal thrush)

Directions for Use

• Insert the pessary into the vagina, as high as possible, using the applicator provided

• Adults: Insert one 500mg pessary at night

  • Best inserted when lying back with legs bent up

  • A second treatment may be carried out if necessary

  • Pessaries require vaginal moisture to dissolve fully – undissolved pieces may crumble out, especially if vaginal dryness is present

• Children: Not for use in those under 16 years
