 Indications

  • Used as a gas-producing agent to enhance imaging in diagnostic procedures of the stomach and upper gastrointestinal tract

Administration

  • For oral use only

  • The contents of one sachet (2.8g) are placed on the tongue and immediately washed down with 10ml of solution

  • For double contrast radiography, barium should be swallowed 30 seconds after administration of the Carbex solution
