Urgostart Plus Border
UrgoStart Plus Border is an advanced adhesive wound dressing designed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure injuries. It combines poly-absorbent fibres, which help trap exudate, slough and debris, with Urgo’s TLC-NOSF healing matrix, which helps rebalance the wound environment by reducing excess matrix metalloproteinases. The silicone border helps keep the dressing in place, while the absorbent layer supports a moist wound-healing environment and allows gentle removal.

Urgo describes the product as indicated for wounds at risk of delayed healing and notes that the UrgoStart Plus Border format is not suitable for weakened peri-wound skin, mucous membrane wounds, malignant wounds, fistula wounds, epidermolysis bullosa wounds, necrotic wounds with black eschar, haemorrhagic wounds, or known hypersensitivity to TLC/TLC-NOSF dressings or carboxymethylcellulose.
