New Weight Management Service Now Available

Marks Tey Pharmacy has launched a new pharmacist-led Weight Management Service, available to adults in Marks Tey, Colchester, and the surrounding area.

This service is provided in the pharmacy and includes a professional, face-to-face assessment carried out by our trained team under an approved Patient Group Direction (PGD). To ensure safety and accuracy, BMI and eligibility are always checked in person, and treatment decisions are not made based on online information alone.

Patients may choose to complete a short online pre-screening form in advance, which helps us prepare for the consultation. However, all clinical assessments and discussions take place during an in-pharmacy appointment.

The service is designed for adults who meet eligibility criteria and are looking for structured, professional support alongside lifestyle advice.
