Co-codamol contains codeine and paracetamol for the short-term treatment of acute moderate pain when other painkillers have not worked.
Used for:
- Headache and migraine
- Dental pain and neuralgia
- Period pain
- Rheumatic pain
Suitable for:
Adults and children aged 12 years and over.
How to take:
- Adults: two tablets every four to six hours when required
- Ages 16–18: one or two tablets every six hours
- Ages 12–15: one tablet every six hours
Do not take more than the maximum dose stated in the leaflet.
Important information:
Use for a maximum of three days only. Contains codeine, which can cause addiction. Do not take with another paracetamol- or codeine-containing medicine. Do not use while breastfeeding.
