ConvaTec Natura® Mini Closed Pouches are compact, single-use closed colostomy pouches designed for use with compatible Natura® two-piece ostomy baseplates.

These Mini pouches are smaller than standard Natura closed pouches, providing a discreet, low-volume option for people with predictable or relatively low colostomy output.

The pouch connects to a compatible Natura® baseplate using a secure mechanical coupling system. A series of audible clicks helps confirm that the pouch has been correctly attached.

The pouch can be removed and replaced without necessarily removing the adhesive baseplate from the skin, helping reduce the frequency of skin-barrier removal.

Choosing the correct coupling size:

The 45mm or 57mm measurement refers to the mechanical coupling between the pouch and baseplate.

It does not refer to the diameter of the stoma.

The selected Natura® baseplate must have exactly the same coupling diameter as the pouch.

For example:

• S7292 45mm pouch → requires a compatible 45mm Natura® baseplate

• S7293 57mm pouch → requires a compatible 57mm Natura® baseplate

Always check the coupling size of the existing baseplate before ordering.

How the Natura® two-piece system works:

The Natura® pouch and baseplate are separate components.

The adhesive baseplate is applied around the stoma and can remain in place while the closed pouch is changed.

The pouch is attached using a plastic mechanical coupling ring.

When the pouch and baseplate are pressed together, a series of audible clicks helps confirm that the connection has been securely engaged.

This allows the pouch to be replaced without removing the skin barrier at every pouch change where clinically appropriate.

Directions:

Ensure that a compatible Natura® baseplate has been correctly fitted around the stoma.

Check that the coupling size of the pouch matches the coupling size of the baseplate.

Align the coupling ring on the pouch with the coupling ring on the baseplate.

Press the rings together around the complete circumference.

Listen for the audible clicks indicating that the coupling is engaging.

Run your fingers around the complete connection to confirm that the pouch is securely attached.

As this is a closed pouch, it is not designed to be emptied.

When the pouch requires changing:

• Gently separate the pouch from the baseplate

• Place the used pouch in an appropriate disposal bag

• Dispose of it according to local guidance

• Attach a new compatible pouch to the existing baseplate if the baseplate remains suitable for continued wear
