Colief Infant Drops
Colief Infant Drops contain the naturally occurring enzyme lactase, which helps break down lactose in breast milk and infant formula into simpler sugars that are easier to digest. They are designed to help reduce digestive discomfort, bloating and wind associated with temporary lactose intolerance in babies and may help relieve associated colic symptoms.

- Glycerol

How to use:
Breastfeeding:
Express a few tablespoons of breast milk into a sterilised container. Add 4 drops of Colief Infant Drops and give this to your baby using a sterilised spoon before beginning breastfeeding. Breastfeed as normal.
Formula feeding:
Prepare the infant formula according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add 4 drops of Colief Infant Drops to warm, not hot, formula. Wait approximately 30 minutes, shaking the bottle occasionally, then feed once it is at the correct temperature. Discard any unused feed.
Preparing formula in advance:
Prepare the formula according to the manufacturer's instructions and add 2 drops to the warm, not hot, formula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before use and use within 12 hours.
Important information:
Do not add Colief Infant Drops to hot milk, as high temperatures can destroy the lactase enzyme.
Do not exceed 64 drops in any 24-hour period.
Colic can have many different causes and Colief will not be appropriate for every baby. If symptoms are severe, persistent, associated with poor feeding, vomiting, fever, reduced wet nappies or poor weight gain, seek advice from a doctor, pharmacist or health visitor.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator where possible and discard after 3 months. Keep out of reach of children.
