Nutramigen PURAMINO is a nutritionally complete, amino acid-based hypoallergenic formula for the dietary management of infants and children with severe cow's milk allergy, multiple food allergies or other conditions where an amino acid-based formula is recommended. It is suitable from birth and must be used under medical supervision.

How to prepare:
Wash hands thoroughly and sterilise all bottles, teats, caps and feeding utensils according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to room temperature. Do not use softened water. Pour the required amount of water into a clean bottle.
Using only the scoop supplied in the tin, add the correct number of level scoops.
Use 1 level scoop (4.5g) for every 30ml of water.
Close the bottle and roll and shake well for approximately 1 minute until the powder has completely dissolved. Check the temperature before feeding.
The amount required depends on the child's age, weight, medical condition and other foods consumed and should be determined by a healthcare professional.

Breastfeeding is best for babies. Nutramigen PURAMINO is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and should only be used under medical supervision.
Powdered infant formula is not sterile. It should not be given to premature infants or infants who are immunocompromised unless specifically directed and supervised by a doctor.
Once prepared, feed immediately where possible. Prepared formula may be covered and refrigerated at 2–4°C for no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if it has been unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours.
Once feeding has started, use within 1 hour and discard any formula remaining in the bottle. Do not use a microwave to warm formula.
Store the tin in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep tightly covered and use within 1 month.
