Coloplast Luja is a ready-to-use hydrophilic intermittent urinary catheter for male catheterisation, featuring innovative Micro-hole Zone Technology. Instead of the conventional two drainage eyelets, Luja has 80+ micro-holes designed to provide continuous urine drainage and support more complete bladder emptying without the need to reposition the catheter during drainage.

Directions:

Luja should only be used after the user or carer has been shown the correct intermittent catheterisation technique by a healthcare professional.

Wash and dry your hands before catheterisation.

Open the package according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Luja is pre-coated and ready to use immediately, so no additional water or lubricant is required.

Use the dry protective sleeve and soft grip to guide the catheter into the urethra using the technique demonstrated by your healthcare professional.

Advance the catheter gently until urine begins to flow.

Allow the bladder to drain. Luja's Micro-hole Zone is designed so that repositioning of the catheter during bladder emptying is not normally required.

When urine flow has stopped, gently withdraw the catheter.

Dispose of the catheter after use.

Use a new sterile catheter for every catheterisation.
