  • Sterile, single-use safety pen needles
  • 5mm needle length
  • 30G / 0.30mm needle gauge
  • Automatic dual-ended needle protection
  • Protective shield at both the patient end and pen end
  • Safety shields automatically lock after use
  • Red indicator band and protective shield provide visual confirmation that the safety mechanism has activated
  • Helps reduce accidental needlestick exposure
  • Short 5mm needle designed for subcutaneous injection
  • Thin-wall technology supports efficient insulin flow
  • Compatible with widely used insulin pen devices
  • Particularly suitable for healthcare professionals and carers administering injections
  • Box of 100 needles

How to use:

Wash and dry your hands before preparing the injection.

Attach a new AutoShield Duo Safety Pen Needle securely to the compatible injection pen according to the pen manufacturer's instructions.

Remove the outer protective cap. Prepare the pen and perform the required flow check before selecting the prescribed dose.

Place the clear safety shield against the injection site and administer the injection using the technique recommended by your healthcare professional.

After the injection, remove the needle from the skin. The patient-end safety shield automatically covers and locks over the needle. When the needle is removed from the pen, the pen-end protection also helps prevent exposure to the used needle.

Dispose of the complete used needle immediately in an approved sharps container.

Important information:

For single use only. Never reuse or share pen needles.

The automatic dual-protection system is designed to help reduce occupational needlestick injuries by concealing both ends of the needle after use.

Do not attempt to override, unlock or reactivate the safety mechanism after use.

Check that the needle is compatible with the specific injection pen before use.

Do not use if the packaging or protective seal is damaged.

Do not store an injection pen with the needle attached, as this may result in medication leakage, contamination or inaccurate dosing.

Used needles are sharps and must be disposed of immediately in an appropriate sharps container.

Keep unused needles out of the reach of children.
