The Dexcom ONE Transmitter is a reusable component of the Dexcom ONE Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system. When attached to a compatible Dexcom ONE sensor, it wirelessly sends glucose readings every 5 minutes to a compatible smartphone running the Dexcom ONE app or to the optional Dexcom ONE Receiver.
Key features:
How to use:
Insert a new Dexcom ONE sensor according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Snap the Dexcom ONE Transmitter securely into the sensor holder.
Pair the transmitter with the Dexcom ONE app on a compatible smartphone or with the Dexcom ONE Receiver as instructed.
Once the sensor session has started, the transmitter sends glucose readings automatically every 5 minutes.
At the end of each 10-day sensor session, remove the sensor and carefully remove the transmitter from the used sensor holder. Keep the transmitter and insert it into the next new Dexcom ONE sensor, provided the transmitter has not reached the end of its battery life.
Important information:
The Dexcom ONE Transmitter is compatible with the original Dexcom ONE Sensor only. It is not required for the newer Dexcom ONE+ system, which has an integrated transmitter.
The transmitter lasts approximately 90 days and is reused across several 10-day sensor sessions. The system provides notifications when the transmitter is approaching the end of its battery life.
Do not discard the transmitter when changing a sensor unless the transmitter has expired or you have been instructed to replace it.
Once correctly attached to the sensor, the Dexcom ONE sensor and transmitter are water resistant and may be submerged to a depth of up to 2.4 metres for up to 24 hours. The Receiver is not water resistant.
Keep the transmitter and display device within approximately 6 metres of each other for reliable communication. Bluetooth transmission may be reduced when the device is underwater.
If glucose readings or alerts do not match your symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
Check smartphone and operating-system compatibility before use.
