GlucoRx Nexus Blood Glucose Test Strips are designed for use with compatible GlucoRx Nexus family blood glucose meters. They use advanced GDH-FAD enzyme technology and require only a small blood sample, providing fast results for convenient routine blood glucose monitoring.

How to use:

Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before testing.

Remove one test strip from the vial and close the vial immediately. Insert the strip fully into the compatible GlucoRx Nexus meter with the contact bars correctly positioned.

Use a compatible lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood. Touch the blood drop to the absorbent hole of the test strip. The blood will automatically be drawn into the strip.

Ensure the confirmation window is completely filled. The meter will begin its countdown and display the blood glucose result after approximately 5 seconds.

Remove and dispose of the used test strip after testing.

Important information:

Use only with a compatible GlucoRx Nexus Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Other test strips may produce inaccurate results.

Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a strip.

Store the strips in their original vial in a cool, dry place between 2–32°C and below 85% relative humidity. Protect from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.

Close the vial immediately after removing a strip and use the strip straight away. Handle strips only with clean, dry hands.

Once opened, the test strips should be used within 6 months, or before the printed expiry date if sooner. Do not bend, cut or alter the strips.

Alternative-site testing should not be used when hypoglycaemia is suspected, when glucose levels are changing rapidly or when the result does not correspond with how you feel.

If a blood glucose result does not match your symptoms or expectations, repeat the test with a new strip and follow your diabetes management plan or seek advice from a healthcare professional.
