mylife Pura Blood Glucose Test Strips are designed for use with compatible mylife Pura and mylife Pura X blood glucose meters. They use glucose oxidase electrochemical technology and provide results in approximately 5 seconds for routine self-monitoring of blood glucose.

Blood sample size:

  • mylife Pura X: approximately 0.75µL
  • Original mylife Pura: approximately 1.0µL

The same mylife Pura test-strip range is used with these systems, but the required sample volume depends on the meter.

How to use:

Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before testing.

Remove one test strip from the vial and close the vial immediately.

Insert the strip into the compatible mylife Pura meter. The meter switches on automatically and recognises the strip.

Use a compatible lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood. Apply the blood to the sample area of the strip, ensuring the viewing window fills adequately.

The meter will begin its countdown and display the blood glucose result after approximately 5 seconds.

Remove and dispose of the used strip after testing.

Important information:

Use only with a compatible mylife Pura blood glucose monitoring system.

Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a strip.

Store strips in their original vial at 4–30°C and below 90% relative humidity. Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.

Close the vial immediately after removing a strip. With the original mylife Pura system, manufacturer instructions specify discarding remaining strips 6 months after first opening, or by the printed expiry date if sooner.

If the meter and strips have been exposed to a significant temperature change, allow them to acclimatise before testing.

If a blood glucose result does not match your symptoms or expectations, repeat the test with a new strip and follow your diabetes management plan or seek advice from a healthcare professional.
