Co-codamol combines paracetamol and codeine for the short-term treatment of acute moderate pain that has not been relieved by paracetamol or ibuprofen alone.

Used for:

  • Headache and migraine
  • Dental pain and neuralgia
  • Period pain
  • Muscular and rheumatic pain

How to take:
Dissolve the tablets completely in a glass of water.

  • Adults: two tablets every four hours when required; maximum eight tablets in 24 hours
  • Ages 16–18: one or two tablets every six hours
  • Ages 12–15: one tablet every six hours

Important information:
Use for a maximum of three days only. Contains codeine, which can cause addiction. Do not take with another paracetamol- or codeine-containing medicine. Effervescent tablets contain a substantial amount of sodium; check the leaflet supplied with your specific pack. Do not use while breastfeeding.
