Migraitan contains sumatriptan and treats migraine attacks with or without aura in people who have previously been diagnosed with migraine.
Suitable for:
Adults aged 18 to 65 years.
How to take:
Take one tablet as soon as possible after the migraine headache begins. If the first tablet works but the migraine returns, a second tablet may be taken after at least two hours.
Do not take more than two tablets in 24 hours. If the first tablet does not work, do not take another tablet for the same attack.
Important information:
Migraitan does not prevent migraines. It is unsuitable for some people with heart or circulation disease, previous stroke or TIA, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or certain types of migraine. Do not combine with another triptan or an ergotamine-containing medicine. This is a Pharmacy Medicine and requires a suitability assessment.
