Fresubin 2kcal HP is a nutritionally complete, high-energy, high-protein tube feed for the dietary management of people with, or at risk of, disease-related malnutrition, particularly those with increased energy and protein requirements and/or fluid restrictions. It provides 2 kcal/ml and 20% of energy from protein, allowing a high amount of nutrition to be delivered in a relatively small volume.
It is fibre free and can be used as a sole source of nutrition under medical supervision.

Ingredients:
Water, glucose syrup, milk protein, vegetable oils including rapeseed oil and sunflower oil, medium chain triglycerides (MCT), maltodextrin, potassium citrate, fish oil, emulsifiers including soya lecithin, acidity regulators, potassium carbonate, sodium chloride, minerals, vitamins and trace elements.
Allergen information:
Contains milk and soya and contains fish oil.
Fresubin 2kcal HP is lactose free and gluten free but is not suitable for anyone who needs to avoid milk or soya protein.
How to use:
Shake well before use.
Administer through an appropriate enteral feeding tube using the feeding method and rate prescribed by a doctor, dietitian or other healthcare professional.
The quantity and feeding rate must be determined according to the individual's nutritional, protein, fluid and electrolyte requirements.
As a general manufacturer guide for complete nutrition:
- At least 750ml per day
- Provides at least 1500 kcal per day
- Provides approximately 75g protein per day
The exact amount required will vary between patients.

Fresubin 2kcal HP is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and must only be used under medical supervision.
For enteral use only. Not for parenteral use.
Not suitable for:
- Children under 3 years
- People with galactosaemia
Use with caution in children under 6 years.
Because Fresubin 2kcal HP is highly concentrated and relatively low in water, ensure adequate fluid and electrolyte intake according to clinical requirements.
Monitor the feeding rate as advised by a healthcare professional.
Do not mix medicines directly into the feed.
Do not use if the EasyBag is damaged or swollen or if the contents appear coagulated or otherwise abnormal.
Store at room temperature and do not store above 25°C.
Once opened, use within 24 hours.
