Fresubin Energy Drink is a nutritionally complete, high-energy oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management of people with, or at risk of, disease-related malnutrition, particularly where energy requirements are increased. Each 200ml bottle provides 300 kcal and 11.2g protein and can be used either as a nutritional supplement or, under medical supervision, as a sole source of nutrition.

Ingredients:

Ingredients vary slightly by flavour but generally include water, maltodextrin, milk protein, vegetable oils including rapeseed and sunflower oils, sucrose, minerals, vitamins and trace elements. Most varieties also contain soya lecithin as an emulsifier.

Allergen information:

Contains milk and soya.

Although lactose free, Fresubin Energy contains milk protein and is therefore not suitable for people who need to completely avoid cow's milk protein.

How to use:

Shake well before use and drink slowly. Fresubin Energy can be taken chilled or at room temperature.

The amount required should be determined by a doctor, dietitian or other healthcare professional according to individual nutritional requirements.

Manufacturer guidance is:

  • Supplementary nutrition: 2–3 bottles daily, providing 600–900 kcal
  • Complete nutrition: 5–7 bottles daily, providing 1500–2100 kcal

Not suitable for:

  • Children under 3 years
