Directions:

Apply the compatible stoma pouch or baseplate according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Attach each end of the Brava Belt to the belt ears on the baseplate.

Position the belt comfortably around the body, ensuring it lies flat and is not twisted.

Adjust the belt until it provides gentle support and helps hold the baseplate securely against the body.

The belt should feel secure but must not be excessively tight.

Check that the belt does not interfere with the stoma, pouch drainage or normal function of the appliance.

Remove and wash the belt as required according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

Important information:

• Use only with compatible appliances that have the correct belt ears

• Code 0422 is not the Brava Belt for SenSura Mio

• SenSura Mio appliances use a separate Brava Belt range with different attachment loops

• Do not overtighten the belt

• Excessive tension may cause discomfort or unwanted pressure around the stoma and surrounding skin

• Check the skin regularly for redness, pressure marks, soreness or irritation

• Ensure the belt does not interfere with pouch drainage

• Inspect the belt regularly and replace it if it becomes damaged, overstretched or no longer provides adequate support

• The belt is washable and reusable

• This is an ostomy appliance fixation belt, not a parastomal hernia support garment

• Persistent leakage, discomfort or problems obtaining a secure appliance fit should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse
