Coloplast Brava® Barrier Cream is a moisturising protective barrier cream designed for sore, dry or irritated skin around a stoma.

It forms a long-lasting protective barrier that helps shield vulnerable peristomal skin from further irritation caused by stoma output and adhesive products, while also providing a moisturising effect for dry or irritated skin.

Unlike heavy barrier creams that may reduce adhesion, Brava® Barrier Cream is specifically designed to protect and moisturise the skin without compromising the adhesion of ostomy baseplates or adhesive tapes.

Key features:

  • Protective peristomal barrier cream

  • Helps manage sore, dry or irritated skin

  • Provides a moisturising effect

  • Creates a long-lasting protective barrier

  • Helps protect skin against stoma output

  • Helps protect against irritation associated with adhesive products

  • Designed not to compromise the adhesion of stoma baseplates or tapes

  • Suitable for routine protection of vulnerable peristomal skin where a cream formulation is appropriate

Directions:

Clean the skin around the stoma according to the normal stoma-care routine.

Apply a small amount of Brava® Barrier Cream to the area requiring protection.

Massage the cream gently into the skin until only a thin layer remains.

Avoid leaving a heavy or greasy layer beneath the appliance.

Allow the cream to absorb sufficiently before applying the stoma baseplate or pouching system.

Apply the ostomy appliance according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Reapply at appliance changes as required according to the condition of the skin and the manufacturer's guidance.

  • Avoid contact with the eyes

  • Do not use if you have a known sensitivity to any of the ingredients

  • Stop use if significant irritation or an unexpected skin reaction develops
