Adhesive hydrocolloid strips for securing male external catheters (sheath systems)

Overview
The Conveen Sheath Liners (item code 5100) are thin, double-sided hydrocolloid adhesive strips designed to enhance the fixation and comfort of male sheath systems (external catheters). They are part of the Conveen range and are intended for use with urisheaths/urinary sheaths.

Key Features

  • Pack contains 20 units (box of 20 liners)

  • Double-sided adhesive design: one side adheres to the skin or sheath surface, the other offers enhanced grip to the catheter/sheath system.

  • Designed to work with latex and non-latex urisheath systems.

  • One-size-fits-all concept: the liner can be adjusted/cut as required to suit individual anatomy or device combinations.

Benefits

  • Improved adhesion and security: helps ensure the external catheter system remains securely in place, reducing risk of shifting or detachment.

  • Comfort and skin protection: the hydrocolloid film provides a barrier layer, reducing friction, irritation or shear between the sheath and skin.

  • Discreet and minimalistic: the thin liner adds little bulk, supporting discreet wear under clothing.

  • Ease of use: simple application and compatible with most male sheath systems – helpful for self-managing patients or caregivers.

Indications & Usage
For adult men using an external sheath catheter system for urinary incontinence. Intended to secure the catheter/sheath interface and enhance fixation. Use under the supervision or advice of a healthcare professional.

How to Use (summary)

  1. Ensure the skin (penis + surrounding area) is clean, dry and free from lotions/creams.

  2. Peel off the liner and apply the adhesive strip to the appropriate surface as guided (either on sheath base or skin depending on system).

  3. Press firmly to ensure adhesion, then connect the sheath or catheter system as usual.

  4. Dispose of the used liner after removal.
