Avoca® Wart & Verruca Treatment is a silver nitrate caustic stick for the treatment of common warts and verrucas. When moistened with water, silver nitrate acts locally on the affected tissue, gradually destroying the surface layers of the wart or verruca.

Suitable for:
- Common warts
- Verrucas / plantar warts
Directions:
- Warts: Apply once daily for 3 days
- Verrucas: Apply once daily for 6 days
- Moisten the tip using a drop of clean water as directed in the leaflet
- Protect surrounding healthy skin with petroleum jelly
- Allow the treated area to dry
- After 24 hours, gently file away the blackened surface before the next application
- If the wart or verruca remains after the recommended treatment course, seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor before continuing
Important information:
Avoca is caustic and can burn healthy skin. Do not use near the eyes, on genital warts or on sensitive areas of the body. Avoid contact with healthy skin, clothing, furniture and other surfaces, as silver nitrate can cause black or grey staining, which may be permanent on materials.
Ask a pharmacist or doctor for advice before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
