Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover Foam Applicator is a sterile, no-sting silicone adhesive remover designed for the gentle and precise removal of stoma pouches, dressings and other adhesive medical devices.

The 1ml foam applicator allows controlled application to small or delicate areas, helping reduce skin stripping, peri-wound trauma and discomfort during adhesive removal. Its healthcare-grade silicone formulation dries quickly and leaves no residue, allowing another dressing or adhesive appliance to be applied shortly afterwards.

Directions:

Ensure the skin is clean and dry before use.

When maintaining a sterile procedure, wear sterile gloves.

  1. Tear open the individual sachet at either notch.
  2. Remove the foam applicator.
  3. Gently wipe the applicator over a permeable dressing or underneath the edge of an impermeable adhesive dressing or appliance.
  4. Gently lift the adhesive product away from the skin as the bond releases.
  5. Repeat as required. Additional applicators may be needed for larger dressings or appliances.
  6. Allow the silicone fluid to evaporate completely before covering the skin or applying another adhesive product.

The product dries within seconds and, once dry, should not interfere with adhesion of the replacement dressing or appliance.
