Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover Wipes are sterile, alcohol-free silicone wipes designed to help remove adhesive medical devices and dressings gently while reducing the risk of skin stripping, pain and medical adhesive-related skin injury (MARSI).

The healthcare-grade silicone formulation temporarily disrupts the bond between the adhesive and the skin, allowing dressings and medical devices to be removed with less pulling and trauma. The silicone evaporates quickly without leaving a residue, allowing a replacement dressing or adhesive appliance to be applied shortly afterwards.

Directions:

Wash and dry your hands before use.

Open one sterile sachet and remove the wipe.

Gently wipe the product over a permeable dressing or underneath the edge of an adhesive dressing or medical device.

As the adhesive bond releases, gently peel the dressing or device away from the skin.

Continue applying the wipe along the adhesive edge as required until the product has been completely removed.

Allow the silicone fluid to evaporate completely before applying another dressing or adhesive medical device.

Dispose of the wipe after use.

Use a new sterile wipe for each application.
