Appeel Sterile Medical Adhesive Remover Liquid Sachets contain a sterile, alcohol-free healthcare-grade silicone fluid designed to help gently remove adhesive medical devices and dressings from the skin.

The controlled liquid delivery system is particularly useful for larger adhesive dressings and appliances, helping reduce skin stripping, peri-wound trauma, pain and the risk of medical adhesive-related skin injury (MARSI). The silicone fluid dries quickly without leaving a residue, allowing another dressing or adhesive appliance to be applied shortly afterwards.

Directions:

Ensure the skin is appropriately clean and dry before use.

To maintain sterility during a clinical procedure, use sterile gloves.

1. Keep the sachet upright.

2. Pinch the marked control point below the tear-off strip.

3. Tear along the perforations at the top of the sachet.

4. Holding the tear-off strip, pull upwards sharply to expose the applicator.

5. Continue to pinch the control point and tilt the sachet towards the dressing or adhesive appliance.

6. Slowly release pressure on the pinch point to control the flow of liquid.

7. Allow the liquid to flow over a permeable dressing or underneath the edge of an impermeable adhesive dressing or appliance.

8. Gently lift the adhesive product away from the skin as the bond releases.

9. Repeat as necessary. More than one sachet may be required for larger adhesive products.

10. Allow the product to evaporate completely before applying another dressing or adhesive appliance.
