Exorex Lotion is a coal tar treatment for psoriasis of the skin and scalp. It contains Coal Tar Solution 5% v/w, which helps reduce the excessive scaling associated with psoriasis and can relieve itching, irritation and discomfort.
The lotion is applied directly to affected areas and can be used alone or as part of a wider psoriasis treatment regimen.

Directions:
Adults and children over 12 years:
Ensure the affected areas are clean.
Apply a thin layer to the affected areas 2–3 times daily.
Massage gently into the skin and allow the lotion to dry.
Children under 12 years and elderly patients:
The lotion may be diluted by mixing it with a few drops of freshly boiled and cooled water in the palm of the hand before application.
Shake the bottle before use.

Do not use if you are allergic to coal tar or any of the other ingredients

Do not use on skin affected by acne or folliculitis

Do not apply to inflamed, broken, weeping or infected skin

Do not use if you have a condition that causes increased sensitivity to sunlight, such as lupus erythematosus or an allergy to sunlight

Avoid direct sunlight after application, as coal tar can increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight

Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes

Do not apply to the genital or rectal areas

Use with caution on the face

Stop treatment and seek advice if significant skin irritation develops

If pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical advice before use; use during the first trimester of pregnancy should be avoided

Fire hazard: clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with this product may burn more easily

Do not smoke or go near naked flames while using this product

Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but may not completely remove the fire risk
