Hydrocortisone Cream 1% w/w – 15g (P)

Hydrocortisone Cream 1% is a mild topical corticosteroid used for the short-term treatment of inflamed, itchy and irritated skin. It helps reduce redness, swelling, itching and inflammation associated with mild to moderate eczema, dermatitis and reactions to insect bites and stings.

Suitable for:

• Mild to moderate eczema

• Irritant contact dermatitis

• Allergic contact dermatitis

• Insect bite and sting reactions

Directions:

Apply a small amount sparingly to the affected area once or twice daily after gently cleansing the area.

Massage gently into the skin.

Use for a maximum of 7 days unless advised otherwise by a doctor.

• For adults and children 10 years and over

• Do not use in children under 10 years unless advised by a doctor

• Do not use on the eyes or face

• Do not use on the genital or anal area

• Do not use on broken or infected skin

• Do not use for acne, rosacea, cold sores, athlete's foot, impetigo or infected bites and stings

• Do not use on untreated bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections

• Do not apply over large areas of the body

• Do not cover with an airtight or occlusive dressing

• Do not use for longer than 7 days

• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommended by a healthcare professional

• Stop using and seek advice if irritation, an allergic reaction or worsening of the condition occurs

• If the condition has not improved after 7 days, seek medical advice

• Fire hazard: fabric such as clothing, bedding and dressings that has been in contact with this product may burn more easily

• Keep away from fire, flames and cigarettes
