Xylocaine® 10mg Spray is a topical local anaesthetic containing lidocaine, used to numb mucous membranes and reduce pain or reflex gagging during certain medical and dental procedures.

Suitable for local anaesthesia during:

• Minor procedures involving the nose and throat

• Minor dental procedures where local anaesthesia is required

• Certain obstetric procedures where additional pain relief is required

Directions:

Xylocaine® Spray should be used as directed by a doctor, dentist, pharmacist or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional. The number of sprays required depends on the area being treated and the procedure being performed.

Use the lowest effective dose and do not exceed the recommended maximum dose.

Important information:

• Do not use if allergic to lidocaine or other amide-type local anaesthetics

• Avoid contact with the eyes

• Use with caution in people with heart, liver or severe kidney problems, epilepsy or poor general health

• Numbing of the mouth or throat can temporarily affect swallowing and increase the risk of biting the tongue or inside of the mouth

• Contains ethanol and propylene glycol

• The solution and supplied nozzle are non-sterile

• The nozzle is for single-patient, single use only and must not be reused
