Coloplast Conveen EasiCath is a hydrophilic-coated intermittent urinary catheter designed for male bladder drainage. The catheter is activated by adding water and is ready to use after approximately 30 seconds, creating a smooth, low-friction surface to help provide comfortable insertion and withdrawal.

This male version is 40cm long with a straight tip and soft, rounded, coated drainage eyelets designed to minimise friction against the urethral mucosa.

Directions:

EasiCath should only be used after you have been shown the correct intermittent catheterisation technique by a healthcare professional.

Wash and dry your hands before catheterisation.

Open the catheter package according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Add clean water to activate the hydrophilic coating and allow approximately 30 seconds before use.

Gently insert the catheter using the technique demonstrated by your healthcare professional until urine begins to flow.

Allow the bladder to empty completely.

When urine flow has stopped, slowly and gently withdraw the catheter.

Dispose of the catheter after use.

Use a new sterile catheter for every catheterisation.
