Correct sheath sizing is important. The penis should be measured using an appropriate sizing guide before selecting the sheath diameter.

Directions:

Wash the penis according to your normal hygiene routine and dry the skin thoroughly.

Avoid applying oils, creams or moisturising products that may interfere with adhesion unless specifically recommended for use with urinary sheaths.

Check the skin for redness, soreness or damage before application.

Remove the appropriately sized Conveen® Optima sheath from its packaging.

Position the sheath over the penis, leaving a small amount of space between the tip of the penis and the outlet of the sheath.

Use the double-grip applicator strips to roll the sheath smoothly and evenly onto the penis.

Gently press around the adhesive area to establish secure skin contact.

Connect the sheath outlet securely to a compatible urine drainage bag.

Ensure the drainage tubing is free from kinks, twists or excessive tension and that urine can flow freely.

Replace the sheath at least every 24 hours, or sooner if it becomes loose, damaged, contaminated or begins to leak.

Important information:

  • For external male urinary continence management

  • 21mm refers to the sheath diameter
