Excilon AMD Antimicrobial Drain Sponges
Excilon AMD Antimicrobial Drain Sponges are sterile, absorbent dressings containing 0.2% PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide). They are designed for use around drains, catheters, tubes and other insertion sites, helping to resist bacterial colonisation within the dressing and reduce bacterial penetration through it.
The pre-cut design allows the sponge to fit conveniently around tubes and drains while absorbing moisture and exudate from the surrounding area.
