Actico – Compression Bandage System

  • Cohesive inelastic compression bandage system

  • Applied at 100% full stretch for simple spiral application – reduces risk of over-compression

  • Proven effective in a Randomised Controlled Trial: as effective as 4-layer bandaging in healing ulcers (mobile and immobile patients)

  • Can be applied up to the knee or as a full leg bandage

  • Non-slip – requires fewer re-applications

  • Patients can usually wear normal footwear

  • Suitable for leg ulcers with or without oedema

  • Effective for mobile and immobile patients

  • Can treat a wide variety of limb shapes

  • Ideal for oedema or exudate reduction before hosiery kit healing


Indications for Use

  • Venous leg ulcers (with or without chronic oedema)

  • Chronic oedema and lymphoedema

  • Suitable for mobile and immobile patients

  • ABPI 0.8 – 1.3: Actico® compression therapy can be applied

  • ABPI >1.3: Further investigation required before application (refer to local guidelines)
