Galactomin 19 is a nutritionally complete powdered formula specifically designed for the dietary management of glucose-galactose malabsorption in infants and young children. How to prepare:
Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. Sterilise bottles and teats.

Boil fresh water for 5 minutes or until an electric kettle switches off. Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes so that it feels warm to the wrist.

Pour the required amount of water into a sterilised feeding bottle. Using only the scoop supplied, add the prescribed number of level scoops.

Use 1 level scoop (4.3g) for every 30ml of water to make the standard recommended concentration.

Replace the cap and shake until the powder has completely dissolved. Check the temperature before feeding.

A lower concentration may initially be recommended until tolerance is established. Always follow the preparation and feeding quantities prescribed by the child's healthcare professional.

For enteral use only. Not for parenteral use.

Galactomin 19 contains cow's milk protein and is therefore not an appropriate substitute for a hypoallergenic formula where cow's milk protein avoidance is required.

Powdered formula is not sterile. Prepare feeds carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions and use immediately after preparation.

Discard any formula remaining in the bottle one hour after feeding has started. Do not reheat prepared formula during feeding and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm the feed.

Store unopened tins in a cool, dry place. Once opened, replace the lid after use and use within 1 month.
