How to prepare:
Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. Sterilise bottles and teats.
Boil fresh water and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes so that it feels warm to the wrist. Pour the required amount of water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
Using only the scoop supplied, add the prescribed number of level scoops.
Use 1 level scoop (4.5g) for every 30ml of water.
Replace the cap and shake until the powder has completely dissolved. Check the temperature before feeding. The quantity and dilution required should be determined by a doctor or dietitian according to the infant's age, weight and medical condition.
Important information:
Breastfeeding is best for babies. Neocate LCP is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and must only be used under strict medical supervision after consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding.
For enteral use only.
Powdered infant formula is not sterile and should normally be prepared immediately before feeding. Discard any formula remaining in the bottle one hour after feeding has started.
Do not boil prepared formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm it. Formula should not be rewarmed during feeding.
Store the tin in a cool, dry place between 5–25°C and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, replace the lid after use and use within 1 month.
