Accu-Chek offers a range of diabetes monitoring products designed to support convenient day-to-day glucose management. The UK range includes blood glucose meters, test strips, lancing devices and lancets, as well as the Accu-Chek SmartGuide continuous glucose monitoring system.

The Accu-Chek range includes:

  • Blood glucose meters for self-monitoring
  • Blood glucose test strips
  • Lancing devices and lancets
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) sensors
  • Compatible diabetes management apps and connectivity solutions
  • Accessories and consumables for supported Accu-Chek systems

Blood glucose monitoring:

The Accu-Chek Instant is the principal meter currently offered to new Accu-Chek customers in the UK and Ireland. Accu-Chek also continues to provide compatible strips and support for several established systems, including Accu-Chek Aviva, Performa and Mobile.

Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips require only a 0.6µL blood sample and feature a wide dosing edge that allows blood to be applied anywhere along the yellow edge of the strip. They are available in packs of 25 and 50.

Lancing:

The Accu-Chek FastClix lancing system uses a pre-loaded drum containing six lancets, so individual lancets do not need to be handled. The device provides 11 adjustable penetration-depth settings and uses 30G lancets.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring:

The current Accu-Chek UK range also includes the Accu-Chek SmartGuide CGM solution, designed to provide current glucose information and support monitoring of glucose trends.

Important information:

Always make sure that test strips, lancets and other consumables are compatible with the specific Accu-Chek device being used. Accu-Chek test strips are not interchangeable between different meter systems.

Blood glucose meters and continuous glucose monitoring systems should be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and the user's individual diabetes management plan.

Unexpected glucose results, or readings that do not correspond with symptoms, should be checked according to the device instructions and discussed with a healthcare professional where appropriate.

Lancing devices are intended for individual use and should never be shared between people.

Always read the instructions supplied with the individual Accu-Chek product before use.
