CareSens 28G Lancets are sterile, single-use lancets designed to obtain a capillary blood sample for blood glucose testing. The 28-gauge needle is suitable for routine finger-prick testing with compatible lancing devices.

How to use:
Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before testing.

Insert a new CareSens lancet into a compatible lancing device according to the device manufacturer's instructions.

Remove the protective cap from the lancet and replace the lancing device cover. Select the appropriate penetration depth and use the device to obtain a small drop of blood from the fingertip.

Apply the blood sample to the appropriate blood glucose test strip according to the instructions supplied with your meter.

Remove the used lancet from the lancing device immediately after testing and dispose of it safely in an approved sharps container.

Important information:
For single use only. Never reuse or share lancets or lancing devices, as this can increase the risk of infection.

Do not use if the protective cap has already been removed or if the lancet appears damaged.

Use a new sterile lancet for each blood glucose test.

Used lancets are sharps and must be disposed of safely in an appropriate sharps container. Do not dispose of loose used lancets in normal household waste.

Keep unused lancets out of the reach of children.
