FreeStyle Lite Blood Glucose Test Strips are designed for use with compatible Abbott FreeStyle blood glucose meters. Their ZipWik® tab design helps draw blood into the strip quickly, while the very small sample requirement supports convenient routine blood glucose monitoring.

How to use:

Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before testing.

Remove one FreeStyle Lite test strip from the vial and close the vial immediately.

Insert the strip into a compatible FreeStyle meter according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Use a compatible lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood. Touch the blood drop to one of the sample areas on the test strip and allow the strip to draw in the blood.

When sufficient blood has been detected, the meter will begin testing and display the blood glucose result after approximately 5 seconds. If necessary, additional blood can be applied within the permitted reapplication period.

Remove and dispose of the used strip after testing.

Important information:

FreeStyle Lite Test Strips are for single use only. Never reuse a strip.

Store the strips in their original vial between 4–30°C, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Close the vial tightly immediately after removing a strip and use the strip straight away.

Do not use strips after the expiry date. Do not use strips that are wet, bent, scratched or damaged, and do not cut or alter them.

If a blood glucose result does not match your symptoms or expectations, repeat the test with a new strip and follow your diabetes management plan or seek advice from a healthcare professional.
