mylife Unio Blood Glucose Test Strips are designed for use with compatible mylife Unio blood glucose meters. They use GDH-FAD enzyme technology and require only a small blood sample, providing a result in approximately 5 seconds for convenient routine blood glucose monitoring.

Key features:

  • Designed for use with compatible mylife Unio blood glucose meters
  • Requires only a 0.7µL blood sample
  • Provides results in approximately 5 seconds
  • Automatic coding – no manual coding required
  • GDH-FAD electrochemical sensor technology
  • Plasma-calibrated results
  • Large, robust test strip design for easier handling
  • Viewing window helps confirm that sufficient blood has been applied
  • Suitable for capillary whole blood testing
  • May also be used with venous and arterial whole blood where appropriate
  • Measurement range: 0.6–33.3mmol/L
  • Single-use test strips
  • Box of 50 strips

How to use:

Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before testing.

Remove one test strip from the vial and close the vial immediately.

Insert the test strip into the compatible mylife Unio meter. The meter will switch on automatically.

Use a compatible lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood. Touch the edge of the test strip to the blood sample and allow the viewing window to fill completely.

Once sufficient blood has been applied, the meter will begin the measurement and display the result after approximately 5 seconds.

Remove and dispose of the used test strip after testing.

Important information:

Use only with compatible mylife Unio blood glucose monitoring systems. Using incompatible test strips may produce incorrect results.

Test strips are for single use only. Do not reuse.

Store strips in their original vial at 4–30°C and below 90% relative humidity. Protect from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.

Close the vial immediately after removing a strip and use the strip straight away.

Once opened, the vial should be discarded after 12 months, or by the printed expiry date if sooner.

If insufficient blood is applied, discard the strip and repeat the test with a new one rather than adding more blood to the same strip.

If a blood glucose result does not match how you feel or appears unexpected, repeat the test and follow your diabetes management plan or seek advice from a healthcare professional.
