Fresubin Protein Energy Drink is a high-energy, high-protein oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management of people with, or at risk of, disease-related malnutrition, particularly those with increased protein and energy requirements or fluid restrictions. Each 200ml bottle provides 300 kcal and 20g protein.

Ingredients:

Ingredients vary by flavour but generally include water, milk proteins, vegetable oils including high-oleic sunflower and rapeseed oils, maltodextrin and/or sugar, flavourings, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Chocolate flavour also contains glucose syrup, calcium caseinate, whey protein and cocoa powder.

Allergen information:

Contains milk and soya.

Although labelled lactose free, the product contains milk proteins and is therefore not suitable for anyone who needs to avoid cow's milk protein.

How to use:

Shake well before use. Fresubin Protein Energy is ready to drink and is best served chilled.

The amount required should be determined by a doctor, dietitian or other healthcare professional according to individual nutritional requirements.

Manufacturer guidance for supplementary nutrition is:

  • 2–3 bottles daily
  • Provides 600–900 kcal per day
