Coloplast Brava® Belt for SenSura® Mio Standard is an adjustable ostomy appliance belt designed to provide additional security for compatible SenSura® Mio baseplates with belt loops.

The belt helps keep the baseplate securely positioned against the body and can be particularly useful for people with a rounded or uneven abdomen, or where additional appliance support is preferred.

Unlike the standard Brava Belt for SenSura and Assura, the SenSura Mio version uses four belt hooks with double belt loops, helping distribute pressure evenly across the baseplate. The Standard version measures 100cm and can be adjusted to suit the individual user.

Directions:

Apply the compatible SenSura® Mio pouch or baseplate according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Attach the hooks on each side of the Brava® Belt to the belt loops on the SenSura Mio baseplate.

Ensure all attachment points are correctly engaged.

Position the belt comfortably around the body and check that it lies flat without twisting.

Adjust the length until the belt provides gentle, even support to the baseplate.

The belt should feel secure but must not be excessively tight.

Check that the belt does not interfere with the stoma, pouch drainage or normal function of the appliance.

Remove and wash the belt as required according to the manufacturer's care instructions.

Important information:

• Designed specifically for compatible SenSura® Mio appliances with belt loops

• Do not use with a baseplate that does not have the appropriate attachment points

• Do not confuse with Brava Belt codes 0421 and 0422, which are designed for compatible SenSura and Assura baseplates

• Do not overtighten the belt

• Excessive tension may cause discomfort or pressure around the stoma and surrounding skin

• Check the skin regularly for redness, soreness, irritation or pressure marks

• Ensure the belt does not interfere with normal pouch drainage

• Inspect the belt regularly and replace it if it becomes damaged, overstretched or no longer provides adequate support

• The belt is washable and reusable

• This product is an ostomy appliance fixation belt, not a parastomal hernia support garment

• Persistent leakage, discomfort or problems obtaining a secure appliance fit should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse
