ConvaTec Curved Ostomy Pouch Clip is a reusable tail closure designed to securely close compatible drainable ostomy pouches that require a separate clip.

The curved shape is designed to provide a secure pouch outlet closure while following the contours of the body. It is suitable for selected ConvaTec drainable pouch systems including Natura®, Esteem synergy®, Ileodress® and ConSecura® Lockring pouches where a separate clip closure is required.

Directions:

Empty the drainable pouch according to the pouch manufacturer's instructions.

Clean the outlet of the pouch as required.

Position the pouch outlet correctly for closure.

Place the ConvaTec Curved Clip across the outlet and secure it according to the instructions supplied with the compatible pouch.

Check that the entire outlet is securely contained within the closure before returning the pouch to its normal position.

To empty the pouch, carefully remove the clip and retain it for subsequent use where appropriate.

Clean the clip as required and inspect it regularly for damage.

Important information:

• Use only with compatible drainable ostomy pouches designed for a separate clip closure

• Not required for pouches featuring an integrated InvisiClose® clipless tail closure

• Always check that the clip is fully and securely fitted before wearing the pouch

• An incorrectly fitted closure may result in leakage

• Do not use a clip that is cracked, distorted, damaged or no longer closes securely

• Keep spare clips available where appropriate

• Follow the instructions supplied with the individual ostomy pouch

• Persistent leakage should be discussed with a Stoma Care Nurse, as the appliance or pouch fit may require reassessment
