The hinged clamp is easy to open and close and has a curved design that follows the natural contours of the body, helping provide a secure and discreet closure during everyday wear. It may also be used to close the bottom of a compatible colostomy irrigation sleeve.

Directions:

Empty the drainable ostomy pouch according to the pouch manufacturer's instructions.

Ensure the outlet of the pouch is clean and appropriately positioned.

Fold or prepare the pouch outlet according to the instructions for the specific pouch.

Position the Hollister clamp across the outlet.

Close the hinged clamp firmly until it is securely locked in position.

Check that the entire pouch outlet is contained within the clamp and that there are no gaps that could allow leakage.

Before wearing the appliance, gently check that the clamp is securely fastened.

To empty the pouch, release the clamp carefully and retain it for reuse.

Clean the clamp as required according to the manufacturer's instructions before reapplying it.
