Accrete D3 Film-Coated Tablets contain calcium and vitamin D3 and are used to prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D deficiency in older adults. They may also be used alongside specific osteoporosis treatments in people who are at risk of calcium and vitamin D deficiency.

Active ingredients:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Calcium: 600mg, provided as 1,500mg calcium carbonate
- Vitamin D3 (Colecalciferol): 10 micrograms, equivalent to 400 IU
How to take:
Adults and elderly: Take 1 tablet twice daily, for example one tablet in the morning and one in the evening.
Take the tablet within approximately 1½ hours of a meal with a glass of water or juice.
Swallow without chewing. The tablet may be broken in half if needed to make swallowing easier; the score line is not intended to divide the tablet into equal doses.
Important information:
Not intended for children or adolescents.
Do not take Accrete D3 if you have high calcium levels in the blood or urine, kidney stones or calcium deposits in the kidneys, excessive vitamin D levels, severe kidney impairment, or an allergy to any of the ingredients, including soya or peanut.
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney problems, sarcoidosis, osteoporosis associated with prolonged immobility, or are taking additional calcium or vitamin D supplements.
Calcium can interact with several medicines, including some antibiotics, bisphosphonates, thyroid medicines, iron and zinc supplements. These medicines may need to be taken at a different time from Accrete D3. Patients taking thiazide diuretics or cardiac glycosides should seek medical advice before using this product.
The tablets contain soya-bean oil and sucrose.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical advice before use, as calcium and vitamin D requirements and maximum recommended doses differ during pregnancy.
