AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu is an anti-static valved holding chamber designed to make it easier to use a pressurised metered-dose inhaler (pMDI) effectively. It holds the aerosol medication briefly after the inhaler is activated, helping the medicine to be inhaled slowly and effectively into the lungs.

Key features:

  • Anti-static valved holding chamber
  • Designed for use with pressurised metered-dose inhalers (pMDIs)
  • Helps reduce the need to coordinate pressing the inhaler with breathing in
  • Flow-Vu inhalation indicator moves during inhalation to help confirm correct use
  • Indicator can help users or carers count breaths
  • FlowSignal whistle alerts if inhalation is too fast
  • Low-resistance one-way valve
  • Transparent chamber allows the valve and inhalation indicator to be seen
  • Compatible with most commonly prescribed metered-dose inhalers
  • Ready to use directly from the package
  • Reusable for a single patient
  • Latex-free

How to use:
Remove the caps from the inhaler and AeroChamber. Shake the inhaler according to its instructions and insert it firmly into the back of the chamber.

Place your lips securely around the mouthpiece. Press the inhaler once and breathe in slowly and deeply through the chamber.

The Flow-Vu indicator should move as you breathe in. If the whistle sounds, breathe in more slowly.

Hold your breath as instructed for your inhaler, then breathe out gently. Administer only one puff into the chamber at a time. If another dose is required, follow the instructions supplied with your inhaler before repeating.

Cleaning instructions:
Clean the AeroChamber weekly.

Remove the detachable parts and soak them for approximately 15 minutes in lukewarm water with mild liquid detergent. Gently agitate, rinse with clean water and shake off excess water.

Allow all parts to air dry completely in a vertical position before reassembling.

The device may also be cleaned on the top rack of a dishwasher according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not heat dry, boil or sterilise.

Important information:
For single-patient use only. Do not share the device.

Always use the AeroChamber according to the instructions supplied with both the spacer and your prescribed inhaler. Administer only one puff into the chamber at a time.

The AeroChamber does not contain medication. Continue to use your inhaler exactly as prescribed.

Inspect the device regularly and replace it if damaged or if any components are missing. For optimum performance, the manufacturer recommends replacing the AeroChamber after 12 months of use.

Device type: Anti-static valved holding chamber
