Coloplast Brava® Skin Barrier Spray is a sting-free skin barrier designed to protect the skin around a stoma from irritation associated with stoma output and repeated use of adhesive appliances.

Once applied, the spray forms a thin, breathable and transparent protective film over the skin. This provides an additional barrier between vulnerable peristomal skin and potential irritants while still allowing the next stoma baseplate to adhere effectively.

The film dries quickly, allowing a new baseplate to be applied almost immediately after application.

Directions:

Clean the skin around the stoma according to the normal stoma-care routine.

Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.

Apply Brava® Skin Barrier Spray evenly over the area requiring protection.

Use only enough product to create a thin, even protective film.

Allow the product to dry before applying the stoma appliance. Brava Skin Barrier dries quickly, so the next baseplate can normally be applied almost immediately once the film is dry.

Apply the pouch or baseplate according to the appliance manufacturer's instructions.

Reapply at subsequent appliance changes as required according to the condition of the skin and the manufacturer's guidance.

Important information:

• For external skin use

• Designed primarily for protection of the skin surrounding a stoma

• Avoid contact with the eyes

• Avoid deliberately inhaling the spray

• Persistent soreness, bleeding, ulceration or recurrent leakage should not be managed with a barrier film alone

• Recurrent leakage may indicate that the appliance opening, seal or convexity requires reassessment
