LoFric Male is a single-use hydrophilic urinary catheter designed for intermittent catheterisation and short- or long-term bladder management. Its hydrophilic Urotonic™ Surface Technology creates a smooth, low-friction surface when activated with clean water, helping support comfortable insertion and withdrawal while reducing friction against the urethra.

The standard male catheter is 40cm long and features a soft, rounded Nelaton tip with smooth drainage eyelets.

Directions:

LoFric should only be used after you have been shown the correct catheterisation technique by a healthcare professional.

Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.

Open the catheter package and add clean water to activate the hydrophilic coating.

Allow the catheter coating to become fully activated according to the instructions supplied with the product.

Insert the catheter using the technique demonstrated by your healthcare professional until urine begins to flow.

Allow the bladder to empty completely, then gently withdraw the catheter.

Dispose of the catheter after use.

Use a new sterile catheter for every catheterisation.

• Do not use if the sterile packaging is damaged or already opened

• Maintain good hand hygiene before and after catheterisation
