Cow & Gate Instant Carobel (6x135g)
Cow & Gate® Instant Carobel is an instant gelling/thickening agent (a food for special medical purposes) used to thicken feeds in the dietary management of habitual/recurrent vomiting and rumination. It can be mixed into liquids (e.g., prepared infant feeds) or made into a gel/paste and given by spoon.
Suitable for: full-term infants, children and adults. Not recommended for preterm or low birth-weight infants (limited clinical data). Use under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
How to use (summary): Prepare the feed as normal, add Carobel, shake well (30–60 seconds), leave 3–4 minutes to thicken, shake again and feed. (It continues thickening after mixing, so add gradually to reach the consistency you need.)
