Dansac GX-tra Seal is a hydrocolloid barrier ring designed to provide additional protection against leakage around the stoma. The flexible seal can be stretched and shaped to fit around the stoma or used to help fill uneven areas, skin folds and scars.

How to use:
Ensure the peristomal skin is clean and dry. Gently stretch or shape the seal as required and position it around the stoma. The seal may be applied directly to the skin or to the skin barrier of the stoma appliance.
If required, the seal can be cut into smaller pieces to help fill skin folds, scars or uneven areas before applying the stoma appliance.
Important information:
Ensure the seal is positioned correctly around the stoma and does not obstruct the stoma opening. Follow the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the product.
If you experience persistent leakage, soreness, skin irritation or difficulty achieving a secure seal, speak to your stoma care nurse or another appropriate healthcare professional.
