The compact all-in-one sensor continuously measures glucose levels in the interstitial fluid and automatically transmits glucose readings to a compatible smartphone, smartwatch, or Dexcom receiver every 5 minutes. It provides real-time glucose values, trend arrows, customizable high and low glucose alerts, and glucose history to support diabetes management. Each sensor is worn for up to 10 days, followed by a 12-hour grace period, has a 30-minute warm-up, and is water-resistant. Routine finger-prick calibration is not required, although finger-prick testing may be necessary if symptoms do not match the sensor readings.
